‘As someone who has been involved in enterprise support for over 20 years, I am committed to giving enterprises and entrepreneurs access to quality services. These self-directed online training programmes will guide participants through the process of writing a business plan or budget and make the process as simple as possible. People can work at their own pace.
As a former Enterprise Officer with a local development organisation, the CEO of an Enterprise Centre for 10 years and as a management consultant and trainer since 2010, I have talked to literally thousands of people either running or setting up their own businesses. WHO WE ARE
Funding Master (www.fundingmaster.eu) was established in 2019 and primarily focuses on issues relating to grants, funded project, the European Union and issues relating to national grants. However, in its previous incarnation as Germaine Business Planning (www.germaine.eu.com), Dr. Ken Germaine developed and ran a series of unique ‘Write Your Own Business Plan’ programmes where participants wrote their first-draft plans on the programme. These had a number of variants to meet the needs of different sectors. Dr. Germaine has further adapted these to be video-driven programmes that participants can go through at their own pace.
Project Master is our website offering these self-directed online programmes focusing on business planning and budgeting courses. Other programmes will be added to the portfolio of offerings in time.
Dr. Ken Germaine is a self-employed entrepreneur, European funding consultant, business advisor, trainer and mentor. Ken is founder and CEO of Funding Master (www.fundingmaster.eu). He is a past President and fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and Advisers (IMCA, Ireland) and was Chief Executive Officer of the BASE Enterprise Centre for nearly 10 years. Since 2010 he has been an independent management consultant and undertaken a range of projects including an Interim CEO role and setting up the EU Lab for Dublin City Council.
Academically, Ken holds a B.A. (Hons) in politics and economics, as well as, an M.A. in political science from University College Dublin (UCD) and a PhD from Trinity College Dublin on community-based social enterprises in Ireland within economic geography.

We do these through the provision of online information programmes which guide participants through the process of writing their own plans and budgets. ABOUT OUR FOUNDER, KEN
Dr. Ken Germaine is a self-employed entrepreneur, European funding consultant, business advisor, trainer and mentor. Ken is founder of Funding Master (www.fundingmaster.eu) which aims to increase the number of organisations accessing EU-funded programmes such as INTERREG, ERASMUS+, HORIZON2020, Europe for Citizens, Creative Europe etc. He has been involved in EU-funded projects since 1997; including writing, managing and evaluating projects.
